Nature’s Beneficial Song
When was the last time you decided to take a hike through the
forest? Did you take time to look around and enjoy all the sights? Were you
attentive enough to take in the sounds of the wind through tress?
Nature is a one of the many blessings we have been given. The
sights, sounds and smells are something we should not take for granted.
Specifically, nature’s sounds have been proven to be therapeutic. Because of
this, many companies developed artificial noise machines that play the sounds
of nature, such as waves crashing, waterfalls or thunderstorms.
The sounds of nature have many health benefits. They have been
proven to greatly reduce stress. This is one reason nature sounds are played by
massage therapists during a
massage session. Nature sounds have also been shown to clear the mind
and allow employees to be more productive. This also relates back to reducing
stress. If employees do not feel stressed they will be more efficient and
effective.
Alcoholism has also been treated partly by nature sounds.
Instead of receiving the relaxing feelings derived from drinking alcohol,
patients depend on the sounds of nature to relax them during meditation.
There is no doubt that the simple sounds of nature that we so
often take for granted have very real benefits. If we take the time to observe
our surroundings and become more in tune with nature, we will see a drastic
change in our stress levels. Purchasing downloads of authentic, masterfully
recorded natures sounds is a convenient way to harness the beauty of nature.
Use the gift of nature’s sounds and be a healthier
person. posted 9/05/11
Nature’s Delight
Science
wants to understand nature. Therefore it is important, how the
word nature is defined: Nature is everything that was not made
by man. So the definition of nature excludes all things that were introduced by
mankind. All those human developments are summarized as culture. The
definition of nature summarizes natural objects, e.g.
It
also reflects on events in nature like
- the
wind
- the
rain
- earthquakes
- food
Nature
can be divided in a living and a not living (a biotic) part.
Nature,
in the broadest sense, is equivalent to the natural world, physical
world, or material world. "Nature" refers to the phenomena of the
physical world, and also to life in general. It ranges in scale from the
subatomic to the cosmic.
For
holidays most of us particularly like to go to the sea, to mountains or into a
forest. In the open, healthy country-side we can feel harmony with Nature. We
are happy to let Nature overlap with our own awareness sphere. In these natural
surroundings we therefore have the availability of additional intuitive
abilities.
Nature
can help us human beings in our development and be an example to us! Insofar as
we wish to develop ourselves further with respect to the basic rights of
existence, we are setting ourselves the same goal as nature. Because of this we
can benefit from the group dynamic with other beings in nature as discussed
above, and develop ourselves more quickly. posted 8/01/11
